Originally from Aotearoa New Zealand, Josh is a Naarm Melbourne based editor with over ten years experience in post-production, with a strong focus on documentary film.
His time working as a senior editor at VICE New Zealand saw him working on numerous online documentaries which have since been viewed millions of times around the world.
His recent editing credits include STILL HERE (Re: News) Zealandia (VICE NZ), Dating While Asian (Re: News), Takeout Kids (The Spinoff), Young & A Siren King (TVNZ+) and K-POLYS (The Spinoff).
2025 saw the NZ release of Marlon Williams: Ngā Ao E Rua - Two Worlds - a feature length documentary funded by the NZ Film Commission, Te Māngai Pāho and NZ on Air. This will have its Australian premiere at the 2025 Sydney Film Festival.
Through his time in the edit suite he honed his craft of storytelling. Driven by a passion for authentic storytelling, Josh is dedicated to shaping narratives that resonate with audiences while honouring the integrity of the participants involved.
